iPAD WON'T TURN ON (OR SCREEN STAYS BLACK): If your iPad doesn't seem to be turning on, try putting it to sleep again by holding the Sleep/Wake button down for several seconds until the Slidebar appears (slide it to turn it off). Then press the Sleep/Wake button to turn it back on. If that doesn't work, it may also need to be charged. See below for instructions on doing a reset.
Did you forget your passcode lock?
If you are not able to unlock your Passcode Lock then bring it to the library ASAP. We can unlock it. If you wait until it is disabled, you will lose everything.

CONNECTION TO THE NETWORK: We now have a WSDPanthers network that all staff and students should connect to on their devices. Your username and password are the same at those you use to authenticate. If your device will not connect, come to the library for assistance, or enter a Student Help Desk Ticket - see link below.

HOW TO CLOSE OUT OF APPS. ON THE iPad: Even though you go back to your home page and it looks as if nothing is running, the apps. are still there, working in the background. Double-click your "Home" button to see what apps. are running, they will be across the bottom with a little red circle that has a line running through it. Click on the red circle to close out of the app. It will slide off. Continue until all apps. are closed out. This will help your battery last longer throughout the day.
Internet Problems
- GOOGLE DRIVE - CAN NOT UPLOAD A DOCUMENT OR FILE: If you try to upload to Google Drive and receive and error that says "server rejected" if may be a result of being logged into Google Drive with 2 different accounts. Log out of all Google Drive or Gmail accounts (hover over your login ID 17wsd12345@...... and a drop down box will open showing the login accounts - if there is more than one name you are logged in with 2 accounts), log back in with the one you want to use to upload and it should work.
Other Problems
- CAN'T LOGIN TO GMAIL OR GOOGLE DRIVE: Make sure you are accessing Gmail from the Middle School webpage link "Student Links" "1:1 Student Email". If you need your password reset, you may enter a ticket on the Student Ticket System. Check back often to see when it has been reset for you by logging into the Student Ticket System to check the status and checking Notes in that system.
- APPLICATION NOT WORKING PROPERLY: If you have a problem with a specific application, try Quitting the application (after you have saved your work in Google Drive) and relaunching it. If that doesn't solve the problem, try resetting too. If nothing seems to fix the problem enter a ticket.
