Integrating Technology into the Classroom
As you begin to integrate technology into the classroom, you may find that your day turns upside down. Gone are the days of giving homework assignments for students to write a book report, read a chapter in a book, or study their hand written notes for a test. What may happen now is a completely new dimension to prepping for the next school day. Students could be assigned to watch a video you have shared with them, read a webpage they downloaded, or create custom music, voiceovers or images to share with their group in class the next day. In class they may DO their homework where you can assist them if they don't understand a particular step. They may gather their homework assignments from your Edmodo page, take a pre-test quiz online, or create a dynamic presentation using video, images and sound effects.
